What exactly is Ride Helper and who is it for?
Ride Helper is an Android mobile application for self-employed road-transport drivers in India — cab and taxi drivers working with ride-hailing platforms, auto-rickshaw drivers, and bike-taxi riders. It is a personal bookkeeping tool: it records your earnings, trips, fuel, maintenance, EMI and incentives and calculates your real net profit. It is not a ride-booking service, and it does not connect to or control any ride-hailing platform's driver app.
How do I pay, and is it safe?
All payments are processed by Razorpay, a Reserve Bank of India authorised payment aggregator. You can pay by UPI, debit or credit card, netbanking or popular wallets. We never see, touch or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password — that information goes directly to Razorpay over an encrypted connection. A payment receipt is emailed to you immediately.
When do I get access after paying?
Activation is automatic. Your licence key is displayed on the confirmation screen and emailed to the address you used at checkout, normally within 5 minutes. If your payment succeeded but you have not received your key within 48 hours, contact us — you are eligible for a full refund under our Refund Policy.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in defined situations. Because the product is a digital licence delivered instantly, refunds are available if (a) you were charged twice for the same purchase, or (b) payment succeeded but activation did not reach you within 48 hours due to a technical fault on our side. Requests must be made within 3 business days of the transaction with your Razorpay payment ID. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Do you offer a free version?
Yes. The Starter plan is permanently free and includes the daily earnings and trip log with 15 days of history. You can use it for as long as you like without entering any payment details. Paid plans add unlimited history, expense tracking, incentive targets and PDF reports.
Does the app need internet to work?
No. Every record is saved on your own phone, so you can log trips and expenses in areas with no network. Internet is only needed once — to activate your licence key and to download the app.
Which Android phones are supported?
Android 7.0 (Nougat) and above, on phones with at least 2 GB RAM. The app is optimised for budget handsets and low-end devices commonly used by drivers, and it works in English as well as in Indian languages.
